Ten on Tuesday

1. Kelsea has now moved on from Mary Poppins to Cinderella--woo-hoo! Now if I can get her to read something besides Walter the Farting Dog.

2. Kelsea got in trouble at school last week for biting her boyfriend. Yep, Nate, who fed Kelsea her birthday cake (and who she never stops talking about) got bit on the arm over a toy.
3. I'm now over a year behind in scrapbooking, and have no idea how I'm going to catch up.

4. American Idol is just not doing it for me this season. The one person I really wanted to see didn't make the top 24.

5. Are you using these in your house yet? We had just switched over all our light bulbs in our last house before we moved, and now we gotta start again...but I'm really unmotivated since all our light bulbs are working just fine.

6. After a weekend of rain, we had 75 degrees of pure sunshine today! Just hoping it lasts until the weekend!

7. I'm getting excited about the arrival (any day now) of Pondegore! Although my prediction is "he" will arrive on March 6th.

8. I never watch Dancing with the Stars, but heard that Shannon Elizabeth is going to be on, so now I have to watch!

9. I just got over a nasty cold last week, and tonight my throat is sore.... you've got to be kidding me! Aagghh!

10. Wallis and I went to the movies for the first time since b.k. We actually saw one of the Best Picture nominees (Juno) and really, really, LOVED IT! I especially adore this Moldy Peaches song, it just makes me smile out loud...with lyrics like this how could it not...
Squinched up your face and did a dance.
You shook a little turd out of the bottom of your pants
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you

Ten on Tuesday

1. So it's been ten days since I've posted, (my apologies). I'd like to promise that it won't happen again, but I'm pretty confident that it will.

2. Kelsea was TIRED tonight. It started at the chiropractor when she threw a tantrum when it was time to leave (yes she loves it there). It continued on the street when she kept running away from me when trying to get her in the car. She decided that since she didn't get her way, she would hit me. LOVELY! Once I started breathing again, I told her that she would go straight to bed, no dinner, no bath, no books if she did not say she was sorry for her behavior before we got home. (5 block drive) Well, sure enough right as we pull into the driveway she gives me a "sorry." 11 more mos and the "terrible twos" are over right?

3. Did I mention that Kelsea was TIRED tonight? After a bunch of fussing, crying and tantrums, during and after dinner, Wallis asked her if she wanted to go straight to bed (no bath time, no books). Well, she said yes "bed, bed, bed." So much for that one! Wiped her down with a wash cloth, put her jammies on, sung a couple songs, and down she went. Then she told me to "go Mommy."

4. Kelsea's favorite thing to watch right now is Mary Poppins. We have only had the movie for a month now, but I know we've seen it at least 20 times. I need to find something else for her to latch on to, because there is only so many times I can listen to Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

5. I guess we now know what Kelsea's favorite color is because she got to pick out her own potty on Sunday. She was so attached to that thing that it had to follow her wherever she went, but we put our foot down when she asked to take it to bed with her. It now resides in the bathroom.

6. I got a new debit card in the mail on Saturday and the expiration date is "3/31/10"...whoa! Even though 2010 is only 2 years away it seems like it should be years away!

7. We had family over last weekend for Christmas in February celebration, here's a couple of my favorites: Aunt Cindy, Mom, & Uncle Mark watching the sunset and having a glass of wine
8. Kelsea running around the sand, and Mommy running after her in hopes of at least one good photo.9. Kelsea ran up and down that life guard tower over & over again, luckily she didn't come crashing down flat on her face and that she stopped for a second so I could take a picture!10. Aunt Cathy and cousin Cari watching the view from above

Rainy Days

What do Californians do when it rains? I'm not really sure since it hardly ever happens, but this is what the Laughreys have been doing...oh ya and watching Mary Poppins over, and over, and over again.
